About
I spent most of my childhood drawing on any pieces of paper that came my way. I doodled throughout my school years and read English Literature at university. I also played the flute which served me well when my husband died at a young age leaving me with two small children.
I returned to this country from Switzerland and was given a job teaching woodwind at schools in Hampshire. I continued to draw and paint in a self-taught way, visiting exhibitions whenever possible. Life drawing sessions have been an important education.
I often find something strange in the familiar or sometimes humour in the sinister. Recently horses have become a theme based on the meaning of my name.
